Your Tasks:

At IONOS you work in partnership with different teams at the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services. We are looking for reinforcements for our Logging as a Service team. The team focuses on the development and maintenance of services for the logging management for our customers. These services range from log agents such as fluent Bit and syslog to log processors, and databases, and other log analysis offerings. Together with other teams, the LaaS team is responsible for the entire life cycle of our logging services - from construction to delivery and operation.

  • To make sure that the platform is optimally maintained through monitoring, performance measurements, and automation.
  • Develop continuous deployment and monitoring solutions.
  • Developing, improving, and maintaining the complete toolchain (e.g. Helm Charts, Github Actions, GitOps).
  • Defining the service structure and design in Cloud Environment (Kubernetes).
  • Continue learning new technologies and evaluating new tools.
  • Together with us, you design the implementation of our cloud strategy and automation technologies in the context of CI / CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code - automate everything.
  • You share your knowledge with your colleagues. If you want, you can design our professional development for DevOps.

We Appreciate:

  • You have a preference for Linux and a good knowledge of BASH, Python, and/or Golang.
  • You have already gained experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI / CD, Infrastructure as code, and corresponding tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, Kubernetes operators, controllers, CRDs, and helm charts.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting production environments, including monitoring, alerting & log analysis.
  • Experience with the Linux operating system.
  • Experience with installation and usage of monitoring tools (Elastic stack, Prometheus/ Grafana, Loki).
  • You do not hesitate to ask questions but also like to figure things out by yourself, always with an adaptive and solution-orientated mindset.
  • You have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in English.
