Your Tasks:

Partnerships are an essential part of our cloud business strategy. In the role of Partner Development Manager and as part of the Global Alliances department, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of the IONOS Cloud by building and expanding strategic alliances and partnerships. Our goal is to equip our cloud infrastructure with a powerful partner ecosystem of ISVs, cloud-native consultants and system integrators. You will be responsible for your partnerships end-to-end - starting with conception, strategic alignment and execution of joint GTM activities.

Our ideal candidate has a commercial and/or technical background that enables him/her to go toe-to-toe with the partner's management, customers and our sales force.   • You will work in a cross-functional team to develop a strategic business plan including technical enablement, business model, marketing and sales activities with the goal of developing solutions that appeal to our customers and deliver measurable value.
  • You manage your partners, revenue and strategic initiatives based on classic sales KPIs and regular business reviews.
  • You develop and market the IONOS Partner Program to specific target groups, and enable partners through training and certification on IONOS Cloud infrastructure.
  • You market partner solutions internally at IONOS and externally to customers.
  • You manage contract negotiations that include both commercial and technical components and conduct internal and external business reviews at management level.

We Appreciate:

Our perfect candidate has 3+ years of experience in partner management, sales, business development or product management in the software or IT industry and ideally brings the following qualifications:

  • Strong performance and commercial acumen combined with strong conceptual/strategic skills.
  • Experience in working with and managing external partners in the context of opening up new business areas (business development).
  • Goal-oriented management of a variety of internal stakeholders from different teams and departments, especially Sales, Marketing, Product Management/Engineering, Legal and Operations.
  • Experience in setting up and implementing programs.
  • Affinity for software solutions and the cloud market.
