Tasks
For our department TechOps Networks we are looking for a motivated student assistant for our location in Karlsruhe, Germany, who will support us in hardware and software related activities in the daily business
- Configuration of network components.
- Installation and administration of Linux servers.
- Creation of documentation.
- Evaluation of new software solutions for provisioning and monitoring.
- Support in the introduction of automation tools.
Qualifications
- You are currently in a (computer science) study and are available for 15-20 hours per week, if possible on fixed days.
- You have basic knowledge of the common Linux distributions.
- Ideally, you have already been in contact with network components (switches, routers), but this is not a mandatory requirement.
- Knowledge of the script languages Perl and Bash is desirable.
- You have a driver's license (class B).
- A reliable and precise way of working is absolutely necessary for this position.
