At IONOS, we are rebuilding internal systems—with AI, automation, and software, not manual workarounds. To do this, we are looking for an AI Automation Engineer who will analyze existing workflows and transform them into functional, scalable automations.

In this role, you will work on real production systems. You will build internal tools, automate complex workflows, and integrate modern AI models where they deliver measurable value. The focus is on running code, not concept papers.

Tasks

Development of Python-based automations and internal tools.
Integration of LLMs and AI APIs into existing workflows.
Analysis and redesign of existing processes and data flows.
Testing, iterating, and optimizing existing solutions.
Evaluation of new AI tools and pragmatic integration into existing systems.

Qualifications

Very good Python skills (practical application).
Strong interest in automation and AI.
Builder mindset: implement, test, improve.
Structured and independent way of working.
Ability to explain technical solutions in an understandable way.
Technical focus: Python. REST/APIs, LLM-based systems, workflow automation, data processing, and internal toolchains.
