Tasks

• Support monthly and annual financial closings, including reconciliations, accruals, and the review of accounting entries.
• Prepare and review variance analyses based on actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain and analyze KPIs and reports for Sales and Marketing.
• Support forecasting and planning processes.
• Review invoices and costs and clarify outstanding issues with relevant departments.
• Document closing procedures to ensure a structured handover.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, a qualification as a certified accountant, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of professional experience in Controlling or Accounting, with proven experience in monthly and annual financial closings.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, particularly cost centers, internal orders, and reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills, especially PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data reconciliation.
• An independent, structured, and reliable working style, with the ability to work independently after a short onboarding period.
• Fluent German and good English skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and planning systems such as IBM Cognos TM1.
• Experience working in a group with multiple legal entities.
• Experience in the software, hosting, or subscription business.
