As a Product Manager for the Product Unit "Value Added Services," you, along with your colleagues, take on a central role in the go-to-market strategy and commercial success in a continuously growing market with focuses on e-commerce, online marketing, and website services. In your future role with a short-term focus on e-commerce, you ensure the go-to-market process of new products and services, optimize existing offerings, and always keep the overall economic impact of your actions in mind.

• You actively develop the product vision and derive content and success-oriented requirements from it, describe them in a target group-oriented manner, and coordinate them with relevant stakeholders.
• You ensure a market-oriented product portfolio, from the idea to the go-to-market. You balance customer needs and business value, as well as growth and profitability.
• You evaluate the market, competitors, and (potential) cooperation partners and initiate projects and measures based on these evaluations in close coordination with existing service providers.
• You are always aware of the commercial performance of your products and regularly optimize them together with internal and external stakeholders, especially in sales, marketing, finance, and product development.
• You create business cases in collaboration with finance and prepare decision proposals for top management based on these analyses.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a university degree (e.g. in business, marketing, IT) and have proven professional experience in the field of e-commerce, ideally already in product management.
• Your excellent analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking help you especially when assessing business and process metrics and deriving targeted measures. You are well acquainted with terms like P&L, conversion rate, recurring revenues, churn, and retention.
• You act motivated and independently and convince with confident demeanor and assertiveness in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, as well as with internationally distributed teams.
• You are motivated to identify growth opportunities and demonstrate passion, creativity, and flexibility to find ways to realize them.
• Very good English skills and, ideally, good German skills in spoken and written form as well as excellent communication and presentation skills round out your profile.
